Our professionals are experts when it comes to installing two-ply SBS roofing systems. This roofing system has proven to be expentionally durable when combating the elements, such as rain, wind, sun, hail, snow, etc. (FYI – Two-Ply SBS Roofing is also know as Torch Down Modified Bitumen Roofing – more on this below).
This system and process is now state-of-the-art.
We use a Two-Ply SBS treatment (Torch-On Application). The actual Torch-On technique has been used for almost a century now, but the product(s) used have changed dramatically. The term SBS is an acronymn for Sequenced Butadiene Styrene which is in regards to the compounds used in manufacturing these product(s).
Flat Roofing Surface Characteristics (basics);
- Comprehensive protection against rain, water, moisture, sun (UV protection) and hail
- Cold or Hot applications (Torch-On)
- Co-polimer bitumen with polyester and/or fiberglass reinforcement
- Rigid board base under a modified bitumen top
- R-Value and stable substrate insulation
- Flashing
The above list of characteristics can be found in numerous combinations, and this is why our flat roofing jobs last so long, without the need for costly replacement(s). We have the years of experience to know exactly which products to use, and how to use them.
There is more to flat roofing than just applying rubberized asphalt and mediocre matting. There is MUCH more to it than that. Our installers are fully trained and experienced. We can provide you with an EXTREMELY durable, and long-lasting roof.
